  • 1. How do I redeem my points?

    Redeeming is easy.

    If you're enrolled in online services simply visit and log in to search and redeem for rewards. If you already know what you’re looking for then you can use one of the quick links below:

    Latest offers

    If you've received a promotion take note of the reward code and visit visit Log in to ensure you see the offers which you are eligible for, check that the points value is the same as the promotion and proceed with your redemption.

  • 2. What can I redeem my points for?

    Your points will give you access to an exciting range of rewards1. Enjoy shopping rewards from gift cards and vouchers for your everyday purchases to luxurious fashion and beauty. Discover greater travel rewards with access to many of the world’s leading frequent flyer and hotel rewards programmes, no other rewards programme offers such choice of respected frequent traveller transfer partners. There are also numerous financial rewards such as using your points for a credit on your Card2 or using points towards your annual Card fee. Whatever your taste, the perfect reward awaits you.

    1. Subject to the Terms and Conditions of the Membership Rewards programme. All rewards (other than American Express Gift Cards) are provided by the rewards provider and not by us, our affiliates or our subsidiaries.
    2. Points may be redeemed by the Cardmember for a credit on the Primary Card Account. American Express may decline a Points for Credit request where the Card Account or Cardmember’s other accounts with American Express are not in good standing. The redemption of Points for Credit will be administered solely by American Express within 3 business days and cannot be reversed. Redeeming Points for Credit is not available for redemption by Corporate Card accounts and is not redeemable for cash via Credit balance refund.

  • 3. How do I transfer my points?

    Transferring your points to a participating frequent flyer partner programme or frequent guest programme is easy.

    If you belong to a participating frequent flyer or frequent guest programme, then it is quick and easy to go online and link the account details to your Membership Rewards account. Alternatively you can call the Membership Rewards team on 0845 604 2638 to transfer your points or link your details to your Membership Rewards account. You can link accounts anytime and there is no limit to the number of partners you can link with. Please allow up to 14 days for us to verify your account.

    Partners often promote bonus offers for transferring points to their programme. Most partner programmes are free to register and by having the choice of when, and with whom to transfer, you will get more from your Membership Rewards points.

  • 4. How long does it take to transfer points into my participating frequent flyer or frequent guest programme account?

    Provided you are already enrolled and your accounts are linked then the points transfer will usually be complete within five working days. This varies for frequent flyer partner and can be much faster, so please refer to the partner details for specific timings

  • 5. Can I transfer points into someone else's airline rewards or frequent guest account?

    No, Membership Rewards points can only be transferred by you into an account in your name. For more details, see the Membership Rewards Terms and Conditions.

  • 6. I've transferred points from my Membership Rewards programme to my airline rewards or frequent guest account but I can't get the booking I want. Can I transfer them back?

    No. Point transfers to frequent flyer and frequent guest partner programmes are irreversible.

  • 7. What if I like a reward and do not have enough points?

    Many Cardmembers top up their balance to take advantage of our higher value rewards. You can buy points at a rate of £15 per 1,000, up to a limit of 10,000 per year1.

  • 8. Can anyone else use my points to redeem for a reward?

    The primary Cardmember can redeem all points earned on their account, whether spend was made on their Card or on any supplementary Cards. Any person chosen by the primary Cardmember can become an authorised 3rd party on the account allowing them to redeem. In order to become 3rd party the primary Cardmember must request a 3rd party form, the designated person will then have full access to the Membership Rewards account and will be able to request a points balance through to making a redemption. Some of our travel partners may allow 3rd parties to travel using points from the primary Cardmember's account, but this varies and should be verified with the partner before points are redeemed.

  • 9. How long does it take to process my order?

    We will process your request as quickly as possible1. Please note:

    - Merchandise items take up to 10 business days.
    - Gift cards and vouchers take up to 10 business days.
    - Points for Credit requests take approximately 3 business days.

  • 10. What do I do if I have not received my reward item in the time frame advised?

  • 11. Are there any restrictions as to when I can use my Gift Card or Voucher

    You must use your Gift Card or Voucher before the expiry date. Please refer to the Terms and Conditions on your gift card or vocuher

  • 12. Can I send items to a different address or someone else?

    Yes, you can change the name and address during the shopping cart process.

  • 13. How do I return unwanted items?

    Please note that rewards are not exchangeable, replaceable, transferable or refundable for cash or credit.

  • 14. I have multiple cards linked in the one Membership Rewards programme. When I redeem my points for credit which Card does the credit go to?

    The credit will be applied to your primary Card Account. The account balance must be higher or equal to the amount being credited. We may decline a Points for Credit request at our own discretion where the Card account or Cardmembers' other accounts are not in good standing or there is not an outstanding balance on the Card. The redemption of Points for Credit will be applied within 3 business days, cannot be reversed and is not redeemable for cash via a credit balance refund. Corporate Cards are not eligible for this reward.
